Scroll down to download the manual.

After your client has uploaded orderlines on tex.tracer and sent them to you, you will receive a notification mail. Follow the below steps to process your orderlines and create transparent supply chains.

Create supply chain

  1. On your dashboard, you will find your newly assigned orderlines under the Actions for today tab, under the Order status .

  2. Click on Manage orderlines and you will be redirected to the Orderlines page. On the Orderlines page, under the Pending tab, the orderlines are grouped per client and per product group. This makes it easier for you to create the supply chains in bulk.

  3. Click on the Create button to create the supply chain.

  4. In the bulk select modal, select the orders you would like to create the supply chain for and click on Create. You are able to create supply chains in bulk.

  5. The Create supply chain modal opens, with a template supply chain. Steps that have been customised by your client are shown in beige, and these cannot be changed.

  6. You can now create the supply chain.

Mandatory steps: if your client has set mandatory steps, you will see a note saying that you must fill at least one step of each category defined. Click on info to check which categories are mandatory. You can only save the supply chain once all relevant steps are filled in.

Add a step: is a step not in our template supply chain? Simply click on the ‘+’ to add a step within the chain and select a process from the dropdown menu.

Move a step: when the order of the steps is different for your supply chain, you can change the order of the steps by holding on to a step, and moving it to the left or to the right.

Add a supply chain: we allow to add up to 5 parallel supply chains to the main supply chain. Perfect to add trims, accessories or different fabrics or materials. Move over a step and click on Add chain to add a new parallel chain.

Delete a step: To delete a step, you can hover over the step and click on the bin icon. The step is deleted!

Assign a step to a supply chain partner: click on the step to open your list of suppliers. Click on the correct supply chain partner to assign them to the step. If your list is empty, or if your supply chain partner is not yet invited to tex.tracer, you can invite your supply chain partner by clicking on the Invite new button.

Invite your supply chain partners: Fill in the required information, such as their company registration number, company name, location and details of the contact person. Click on the Send invite button to invite the new supply chain partner. The supply chain partner will receive an email from tex.tracer, to create their free account. The newly invited supply chain partners will be added to the list, and you can select the new partner.

Add a reference: While assigning a step to the supply chain partner, you can add a reference to help the partner in the supply chain understand what order or product this supply chain is linked to. As an order number you receive from your clients may not resonate with the order number you have for the orders with your supply chain partners.

Continue to assign your supply chain partners to steps in the supply chain, until each step has a green dot.

Only if all steps have been assigned, you can confirm the supply chain.

Edit supply chain

To edit the already created supply chain, go to the Verification in progress tab and click on the expand button. You can reorder, add or delete a step, or change the supply chain partner by clicking on the edit button. Always confirm the changes made.

Edit supply chain with footprint

If the footprint data was requested for the orderline, the supply chain steps can not be edited anymore. Please contact your client and request to remove the request of the footprint data, then you will be able to edit the supply chain again.

Once the footprint request is removed, you can edit the orderline as mentioned in this article above.
