Managing your requested documents

See all your document requests in one place on your Compliance page, filter by status, and upload or re-upload without leaving the page.

Rather than checking every orderline individually, you can now manage all of your document requests in one place: the "Requested documents" tab on your Compliance page.

The four views

Your requested documents are grouped into four views, so you can see exactly where things stand at a glance:

  • Pending – documents your client is still waiting on

  • Uploaded – documents you've submitted that are waiting for review

  • Rejected – documents your client asked you to resubmit

  • Approved – documents your client has accepted

You can filter and search within each view to find a specific request quickly, which is especially handy once you're managing requests across a lot of orderlines.

Pending document(s)

When you have one or multiple document requests, you will see them listed onder Pending document(s). When you open this view, you can click on Upload to upload that specific document, this can be uploaded from your device or from your Library.

After selecting the right document, you are able to add more information such as a note, a valid to date and a reference number. It could be the case that the client made certain field mandatory, you can only click Confirm once you've filled in the mandatory field(s).

If you would like to add document types in your Library, please have a look at Creating and reusing document types in the Library.

Uploaded document(s)

After uploading your document(s), the request will move to Uploaded documents(s) and you can change the added information such as the note, the valid to date and the reference number by clicking on the edit-icon. When you've uploaded the incorrect document, you can click on the bin-icon and delete the document. The request will return to the Pending document(s) tab and you can re-upload a document.

Rejected document(s)

Once your client rejects the document, you will see the request under the Rejected document(s) view. When your client left you a note, you can click on the note-icon to read their comment. To upload a new document, click on Upload again and select another document form your device or from your library. Add the mandatory data and click Confirm, the document will move to Uploaded document(s) again. Now the client can review your newly uploaded document.

Approved document(s)

Once your client approves the document, the requested document(s) will move to the Approved document(s) view. When you open that section, you can review your own uploaded document(s).

A note on forwarded requests

If you work with an agent, you might occasionally see a request appear here that you didn't request directly. That usually means your agent received the document request on your behalf and forwarded it to you because it needed your input. It'll behave just like any other request on your Compliance page from there.
