As a Dyeing, Printing, or Washing partner, you will be asked to provide information about your process.

Click on Add yarn or Add fabric to get started and add one or multiple processes of dyeing treatment, pre-treatment, or coating/finishing.

Dyeing treatment:

Reference for this dyeing treatment: provide a reference for the dyeing treatment; this helps to recognise the treatment for other partners in the supply chain. This is a mandatory field.

Type of Dye: select one of the drop-down options.

Shade: select a shade from the dropdown (pale, dark, not coloured, white, medium).

Process: select a process from the dropdown (pad-steam, jet, thermosol, jigger, air-jet, winch, semi-continuous).

Water use in liters per kg of fabric: add how much water is used per kg of fabric.

Pre-treatment:

Reference for this process: provide a reference for the pre-treatment process; this helps to recognise the fabric for other partners in the supply chain. This is a mandatory field.

Type of process: select one of the drop-down options.
Water use in liter per kg fabric: add how much water is used per kg of fabric.

Coating/Finishing:

Reference for this coating/finish: provide a reference for the fabric; this helps to recognise the coating/finish for other partners in the supply chain. This is a mandatory field.

Type of coating/finish: select one from the dropdown.
Water use in liter per kg fabric: add how much water is used per kg of fabric.

Printing:

Reference for this print: provide a reference for the print; this helps to recognise the process for other partners in the supply chain. This is a mandatory field.

Type of print: select one of the drop-down options.

Shade: select a shade from the dropdown (pale, dark, not coloured, white, medium).

Process: select a process from the dropdown (flat screen printing, rotational screen printing (AOP), ink jet printing, transfer printing, spraying).

Water use in liters per kg of fabric: add how much water is used per kg of fabric.

Energy use:

For each treatment, provide the energy use.
Energy use per kg fabric: this is calculated in kWh. No decimals are allowed.

Percentage of wind energy used: of your energy use, what percentage is provided by wind energy? This cannot be more than 100%; no decimals are allowed.

Percentage of solar energy used: of your energy use, what percentage is provided by solar energy? This cannot be more than 100%; no decimals are allowed.

Thermal energy used: in percentages. Select the source (gas, Coal or oil).

You can provide any supporting document by clicking on Upload supporting document. Please make sure this document is written in English.

Transport data:

Finally, add the transport data to the next partner.

Mode of transport: choose one of the options for transportation.

Distance: add the distance, no decimals.

Unit: choose one of the units (Km, Nautic miles, miles).

Note: When adding transport data, particularly for waterways or sea routes, be careful with the distance and units you enter. Use the sea-distance measurer to calculate the distance in either nautical miles or kilometers.

To track the progress of collecting footprint data, use color indication of the dots next to each step:

  • Red: Incomplete step

  • Yellow: Partially complete step

  • Green: Fully filled-in step
