Sometimes it can be difficult to fill in all fields correctly when having a number of different certifications from sustainability to social to auditing. In this article, we explain the meaning of each field of audit certificates.
Explanation of the fields
Certification body: The name of the company issuing the certificate.
Certificate number: The unique identifier assigned to a specific certification
License ID: The unique identification number assigned to your organization or individual holding the certificate
Valid from: certification issuing date.
Valid to: certification expiration date.
Amfori BSCI: A social compliance system that helps companies improve working conditions in their global supply chains, ensuring ethical and fair labor practices in textile production.
RSP holder: The client's name or the party who authorise this audit.
Audit result: The result given by the auditor (A, B, C, D, E, none)
Amfori ID: unique identifier assigned to a company or organization that is a member of the Amfori network, used for tracking and verifying their participation in Amfori BSCI activities.
Site Amfori ID: specific identifier for a particular facility or site within that company, used to monitor and audit the compliance and performance of individual locations.
Facility Environmental Module (FEM): Part of the Higg Index assessing a facility's environmental performance, guiding textile manufacturers toward sustainable and eco-friendly operations.
FEM score: rating that measures a facility's environmental performance
Facility Social & Labor Module (FSLM): Also part of the Higg Index, evaluating social and labor conditions within facilities to promote safe and fair working environments in the textile sector.
FSLM score: rating that measures a facility's social and labor performance
International Labor Standards (ILS): Guidelines set by the ILO to ensure fundamental worker rights and decent working conditions, crucial for upholding ethical labor practices in textiles worldwide.
Audit result: extent to which a facility or organization complies with globally recognized labor standards
SEDEX (SMETA): A collaborative platform and audit methodology that assesses ethical performance in supply chains, helping textile companies manage and improve social responsibility and sustainability.
Audit result: reflects a facility's compliance with ethical standards in areas
SMETA: An audit procedure by SEDEX evaluating a facility's adherence to ethical standards in labor, health and safety, environment, and business ethics, ensuring responsible textile production.

WRAP: A globally recognized certification ensuring that textile and apparel products are manufactured in safe, lawful, humane, and ethical conditions, enhancing trust and accountability in the industry.
